SERVING KINDERGARTEN THROUGH SIXTH GRADE

Roosevelt Elementary School provides a quality, caring environment for its entire student population through a strong academic reading program called Success For All™. The all-day kindergarten program emphasizes speaking and pre-reading skills. In grades 1-3, students gather in multi-age groups for 90 minutes of reading each day.  In grades 4-6, students use Readers' Workshop.  At all levels, students read books for 20 minutes each evening as homework. Teachers blend language, writing, art and math into daily classroom
