MATHEMATICS: Roosevelt uses "Everyday Math" from the National Science Foundation. "Everyday Math" is designed to prepare students for more advanced mathematics in Middle School.
WRITERS' WORKSHOP: Roosevelt integrates written and oral language into all parts of the curriculum. Students spend 60 minutes each day in small writing groups that emphasizes language development as well as genre process writing.
