I have been teaching at Roosevelt since 1997. I taught 2nd grade for 9 years, and have been teaching 4th grade since fall of 2006. I received my Master's degree from Hamline University in 2004. My favorite subject to teach is math and writing. I have been married since 2001, and my daughter was born in 2004. We are expecting our second child in July of 2008. As a family, we love to hike, camp, fish, and go bike riding. I also love to read and work on my scrapbooks. I love teaching because I enjoy getting to know new students every year, and I love to see the changes throughout the year as students grow and learn together.
