| Roosevelt Elementary School Site Based Shared Decision Making Council
The mission of the Site Council at Roosevelt is to link students, teachers, parents, and community in a nurturing environment. We want to promote excellence, develop creativity, encourage academic achievement and cooperation. We intend to do this by emphasizing the application of knowledge, facilitating problem solving and modeling fairness and tolerance while equipping one another for learning. The focus of the Site Council is to offer initiatives that positively impact the education of Roosevelt students. Individual issues will be redirected to the appropriate committee/person. Our Site Council is representative of our families, community members and Roosevelt staff. We meet each month to review current data and plan for future needs of Roosevelt. Meetings take place in the library at Roosevelt beginning at 5:30. Child care is provided.
